Lawsuit Against Boeing Ends in Suicide

Lawsuit+Against+Boeing+Ends+in+Suicide

Whistleblower, John Barnett, filed a lawsuit towards Boeing for allegedly retaliating against him for raising concerns about their planes, was found dead at age sixty two in a South Carolina parking lot. Supposedly, it was listed as a ‘self-inflicted’ death, but Barnett’s lawyer is calling foul.

“It is incredibly suspicious, I’ll say that,” Sultana freshman Kyle McGuavran said.

“While I wouldn’t necessarily say the government had any role in his death, I find this incredibly hard to believe this was a result of suicide. No one randomly offs themself during the middle of a lawsuit. It just doesn’t add up.” fellow Sultana High School freshman Axel Ficalora stated.

Barnett worked at Boeing for thirty plus years, retiring in 2017. Seven of those years were spent working as a quality control manager at the South Carolina plant where Boeing’s  787 Dreamliner Jet is manufactured. During his time working at Boeing, he describes a very unsafe workplace with next to no security or supervision.

Barnett was supposed to make a statement about all of this uncertainty on March 9th, 2024, however; that morning he was found in his pickup truck unalive, supposedly of suicide.

“While I wouldn’t necessarily say the government had any role in his death, I find this incredibly hard to believe this was a result of suicide. No one randomly offs themself during the middle of a lawsuit. It just doesn’t add up.” fellow Sultana freshman Axel Ficalora stated.

An investigation into his death is still ongoing. Barnett’s lawyers, family, and co-workers are incredibly suspicious of this outcome, and are suspecting foul play was the real reason behind his death. A hotel staff member recalled Barnett eating a quesadilla, drinking  a coke,  scrolling on his phone, seemingly completely fine and stable both the night of March 8th and the morning of March 9th.

The death is only preliminarily being called a suicide for the moment.

“This is terrifying. I really don’t know what to say.” Sultana Freshman Daniel Moreno started. “Any sane man should know suicide doesn’t just happen like that. Anybody who’s dealt with those thoughts are completely aware that this is not true. He didn’t (commit suicide), and the courts are either lying or being paid to say it is.”
