Multiple Shooters, Two Calibers, One Red Kia: What Police Found After Three Young Men Were Shot on West Little York Road

Houston police responded to a shooting call at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, in the 800 block of West Little York Road. When officers arrived, they found three young men — all between the ages of 18 and 20 — suffering from gunshot wounds outside a local business.

Two of the victims had been shot in the legs and were rushed to area hospitals for treatment. A third victim sustained a graze wound and was treated at the scene before being released. None of the victims have been publicly identified.

According to investigators, the three men were standing outside the store when a vehicle — described as possibly a red Kia — slowly drove past and opened fire on them without warning.

What makes this case particularly alarming is the physical evidence left behind. Detectives recovered shell casings at the scene from at least two different calibers, strongly suggesting there was more than one shooter firing from inside the vehicle — a chilling detail that points to a coordinated, premeditated attack rather than a random act of violence.

As of this report, no arrests have been made. Detectives are actively working leads and reviewing available evidence in an effort to identify the suspects and establish a motive for the shooting.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
