HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A child was hurt and a vehicle slammed into a wall after what deputies believe started as a road rage encounter near one of the area’s busiest corridors.
Harris County Constable Precinct 4 deputies responded to a major crash near N. Grand Parkway West and Tomball Parkway after reports of a serious collision.
When deputies arrived, they found significant damage to the vehicle and a wall it had struck. A child was among those involved and was being evaluated by EMS at the scene.
What Led Up to the Crash
Investigators say the incident may have started with an aggressive encounter between drivers on the road.
At some point, the driver lost control — sending the vehicle crashing into a wall with enough force to cause major damage.
The full circumstances are still under investigation, and deputies have not yet released details on the condition of the child or how many people were inside the vehicle.
Road Closed, Drivers Urged to Find Another Route
The crash caused significant disruption to traffic in the area.
Authorities urged drivers to avoid N. Grand Parkway West and Tomball Parkway while the scene was being processed and the investigation continued.
Officials also took the moment to remind all motorists that aggressive driving carries real consequences. What starts as frustration behind the wheel can escalate in seconds — and innocent lives, including children, can pay the price.
