As track season is off to a kick start, the track athletes of Sultana High School are determined to showcase their skills to an unmatched level. With the track team expanding with both seasoned and new talent, many have shared their excitement and thoughts about the upcoming meets this season.
Junior Jonathon Silva expressed, “I make sure to give my all in training, so I’m ready for any type of competition thrown at me.”
Motivation also plays a key role in the athlete’s performance. “I have great people who believe in me; that’s all the motivation I need to work hard.”, said junior Matthew Rangel.
Track, Head Coach Hunt outlines his determination to dominate the competition: “We are consistently committed to outworking our opponents every single day.”
Junior Preston Zambon says, “We push each other to perform to our best ability, no matter the obstacles we face, both physically and mentally,” showcasing the relentless drive of our Sultan athletes to step up and motivate their teammates to excel at their best.
All in all, Sultana’s track team is ready for a standout season. With a combination of experienced and new athletes, the excitement for meets is highly anticipated.
